Welcome to the PHSA Early Head Start Web Page. 

Pennsylvania is receiving over $17million in ARRA Stimulus funds to expand Early Head Start services in Pennsylvania.  PHSA estimates that an additional 2000 children and their families will be able to have an Early Head Start experience.  This means that in the coming months Head Start programs, Child Care programs, and other Early Learning Providers will be providing Early Head Programs for the first time.  PHSA is excited to support its members as they take on this exciting project and welcomes new providers to the Head Start community.  The purpose of this page to provide a portal for PA Early Head Start information as we got through this incredible expansion.  It is anticipated that programs will be formally notified they will receive funding before the end of the year.
