Additional Program Details:
LCSS, Inc. Head Start offers a variety of program options to meet the diverse needs of the children and families of Lawrence County, PA, which is located midway between Pittsburgh and Erie, along the western most side of the state, bordering Ohio. Among the program options available to 411 children and their families are: Part Day, Part Year; Full Day, School Year; Full Day, Full Year; Home Based; and a Combination Option. The program also offers Head Start slots that are available through a child care collaboration.
The Head Start program's grantee, LCSS, Inc. is a member of the Lawrence County Community Action Partnership, thereby allowing families to easily access an array of services and programs, including: employment and education, housing and transportation, all of which were designed to assist individuals in becoming self-sufficient. LCSS, Inc. Head Start also offers on-site Adult Basic Education, GED preparatory classes and a parenting workshop series through a partnership with Adult Literacy Lawrence County (ALLC).
